A wonderful journey through New Zealand
According to many avid travelers, New Zealand is one of the most beautiful and picturesque countries in the world. A young guy named Jacob, who has been traveling for three and a half years, recently traveled more than 8,000 kilometers across New Zealand, and was personally convinced of the truthfulness of the stories about its stunning nature. Below you will see his story and photos from the journey.
"I started my journey from Oakland and bought a second-hand Mazda SUV 1996".
"I knew that I would see a beautiful country, but I did not even imagine how amazing landscapes would open to me."
"At first I went to the most northern point of New Zealand, which looked like a waking dream, and began to move south."
"A few days later I climbed to the highest volcano in the country (which is also the place where the episode was shot about the Mordor's Gate from the" Lord of the Rings ")."
"The next morning I entered the territory of the famous Tongariro National Park and then walked 20 kilometers along magnificent valleys and mountains past rivers and lakes."
"Finally, I got to the South Island. But my journey was just beginning."
"I went to the Abel-Tasman National Park and crossed 70 km in just a couple of days."
"Then I went to Wanaka ...".
"... which turned out to be the most beautiful city, from all that I visited during the trip."
"On the last day of my stay in Wanaka, I wanted to see everything from above, and I made a 4,500 meters parachute jump above the ground."
"Then I went to Queenstown, a small town in the south of the country."
"There I made an unforgettable bungee jump".
"The same day I went to the very south, to the huge Fiordland National Park, which is larger in area than Cyprus, Qatar or Jamaica."
"It took more than two hours to get to this lake, but it was worth it. What a great place! ".
"After that, I began to return to the north, stopping in various beautiful places."
"In the end, I was at the foot of Mount Cook, the highest and most dangerous mountain in the country."
"I met a magical New Zealand sunset on the shore of the lake."
"Then I started to towards Auckland, and after arriving in town, I sold the car, thereby completing my journey."
