The Golden Gate: this bridge takes most pictures in the world
One of the most recognizable symbols of the United States is the Golden Gate suspension bridge in San Francisco. Built in 1937 over the same strait to connect San Francisco with the Marin district; it was the longest bridge in the world for a long time. The Golden Gate is the most photographed bridge in the world. Watching pictures of the German photographer of Turkish origin Ali Erturka, you will understand why.
Ali Ertürk (33 years old) is a neuroscientist by his major; but he took got interested in photography in 2006. A few years ago he came to San Francisco for the first time. It's not difficult to guess that like any photographer, he decided to perpetuate the most famous landmark of the city first of all. However, in his pictures you will see not just a bridge, but a mysterious ghost-shrouded fog. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
When the fog envelops San Francisco early in the morning, the Golden Gate completely disappears from your eyesight. And only from above can you see the uppermost tips of the bridge in thick white curls. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
To catch the sunrise and fog over the Golden Gate Bridge, the photographer leaves the house a few hours before dawn. Sometimes he fails to make really good shots. But after several unsuccessful attempts, Ali managed to take amazing pictures, like, for example, this one. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
To capture a bridge shrouded in fog in the light of stars, the photographer had to go by car searching the shooting area. According to the photographer, this allows him to quickly check whether there is a fog or not and find a place with amazing views of the city and the bridge. This time he was lucky as he managed to make great photos from Slacker Hill. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
Ali Erturk often leaves at 4 am and goes on foot in search of picturesque places to photograph the stunning scenery of the mist-wrapped city. You need to shoot very quickly, says the photographer, because the level of visibility changes every minute. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
Sometimes, the author had to shoot about 3 hours in a row to make successful photographs. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
It seems that the bridge is floating among the clouds. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
According to the photographer, early wakes, time spent, and all efforts were worth making such unusual magical photos of the most photographed bridge in the world. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
A thick fog sometimes covers the famous bridge 100%. The author compares it with a ghost floating on the bay. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).

The famous bridge almost disappeared. And the most surprising is that on this bridge people are actually trying to disappear from this world. It is also notorious as the most popular place for suicides. According to unofficial data, during its existence the bridge has become the last place in this world for 1200 people. There were certainly unsuccessful attempts, i.e. Jumping from the bridge people could even survive. (Photo: Ali Ertürk).
